Who Am I and what am I doing here?

Hi, my name is Karissa, and I am starting my first post on my real food, small changes, recipe blog! I have  blogged before from the perspective of a first time mom. I have not blogged since, in over 2 years. So,if you have any creative suggestions or help you want to lend me, be my guest.

I am a 36-year-old wife, mother of two, blogger, and cook, who is on leave from being a Massage Therapist and a colon Hygienist. Presently working on getting my Health Coach certification, since, I have found myself coaching many in the area of health and nutrition. I am passionate about health and wellness from the inside out and all about! I believe that health and wellness starts in the gut and that we just love our guts to feel our best! I enjoy learning all the different ways God made me unique and creative.  The one thing I enjoy the very most is finding delicious ways to incorporate whatever you have in the kitchen into a marvelous dish of living health! I am zealous to spread the message of Health and Hope to everyone I meet. I want everyone to know that there really is HOPE, in the most desperate states of suffering! I truly believe that completely!
What else?  Well, I love Jesus like a puppy loves an owner who never forgets him! I get to experience his love for me in the mornings, when I wake, in the afternoon when I get cranky and mean to my kids, in the evenings when it's all said and done. His love is a constant in my life and no religion, no foe, no pastor, no lie, no enemy, or bad memory, neither any bad circumstance seems to be able to drown out the depth, the height, the width, or the length of the Love that this Father has for me!
I should warn you, I am no English major! I should, also warn you that cooking in my house is, "a little of this, and a little of that. Meaning, I am not always sure what the measurements are. Sorry!
What is my plan here on this blog? Since, I am passionate about eating "real foods" (a post I will write soon), and eating local Organic or purest organic sourced foods available, I want to share my findings here. I hope to include many recipes, meal plans, food facts, food sources, what I am learning and inspire you (readers) to make "Small Changes In How You Fill Your Families Plates"!
